Entering his 14th season. John Camm is the head coach of the 2015 4A State Champions when his team was undefeated with a 16-0-2 record. Coach Camm was named county coach of the year, All-Metro Coach of the Year by the Washington Post, and MACS state coach of the year. In 2013, BHS finished with a program record 13 wins en route to an undefeated regular season and their second regular season County Championship in the past three seasons. The Bruins are now widely recognized as one of the premier teams in the state with the team reaching a Number 2 ranking in the Baltimore Sun and spending three weeks nationally ranked by the NSCAA this past season. In 2002, Coach Camm helped lead the South River’s women’s team to the State Semi-Finals and a Number 2 ranking in the Baltimore Sun. In his final year as head boy’s coach at Glen Burnie in 2000, Coach Camm led the men’s team to the County Championship with a 2-1 win over Nationally Ranked Chesapeake. Coach Camm currently coaches the Severna Park Black Thunder a U15 WAGS team and is the Director of Coaching for Severna Park Soccer.
